Bear Mountain Motel’s name celebrates the majestic mountain that towers above the motel called Bear Mountain by the Blackfoot Indians.

Located right in the town site, we offer easy access to the marina, restaurants, shops, beach paths and scenic attractions. The lake is just across the street. We offer simple, clean, affordable accommodations with basic amenities. From single rooms to 3-room kitchenettes or full kitchens, we welcome guests old and new.

Open mid-May thru September, the Bear Mountain Motel is a classic 1950’s style motel. The wood and masonry architecture and drive-up parking is a favorite with nostalgic travelers. Rooms are small by today’s standards and are very clean. All rooms are smoke-free. Ground-floor units are pet-friendly for a small fee of $25 for your stay.

Marvelous landscape surrounds the motel and most rooms have a view. All ground-floor rooms have large wooden chairs outside the door to lounge comfortable after a long hike or busy day site-seeing.
